Since I had already relocated to Massachusetts, I missed "The Rosie & Reid Show." (Is that trademarked yet?!) :) I was so sad that I wasn't there to enjoy the moment . . . but I certainly heard about it!! There were many tears . . . mine would have taken up space as well. But alas, I was 3,000 miles away, although I felt right next door that day. Then the CD came . . . wow. DNA is a powerful thing . . . rehearsing in each of you for all those years, resounding in a crescendo for the ages . . . love is also a powerful thing . . . thanks for sharing.

[...] I felt complete. If this day had gotten any more amazing, my heart would have exploded. I felt like I finally got an answer to the question, “Are you ever really home?”. I have often had the feeling that I am from another planet, but I had arrived home on Planet Reid. click here to read Bob’s version [...]

Daddy,
This is beautiful. You make me proud, but I have to say, I am ashamed that I didn't write it myself.

Hey, Bob, I'm having a great time reading some of your blog, which I stumbled into from Betty's. How wonderful for you to discover and get to know Rosie. The closest I can imagine is probably when I met an LRY friend after fifty years, at a Pacific Northwest District meeting in Tacoma, Washington. Where are you living now? (I'm in Eugene, Oregon. Making of each day what I can.) Best wishes. David

Dad,
I can't answer for Lilly, but for me hearing you read is pure joy. Your voice is so colorful and animated that you could make the ingredients on a cereal box sound exciting. I can't wait for the next installment of Winnie the Pooh!

These photos of you and Rosie are great - but ya gotta go a lonnnnng way to outdo the one up there of that nursing foal! Absolutely beautiful! The shapes and the tones in the colors; the sweep of the mother's belly -- are magnificent. Martha's right. Your photography is truly remarkable. I'd love to have a blowup of this one. You sure didn't get that talent from me. I can't get anything out of a camera that's worth having. Can't visualize what the finished prints will look like -- lighting, etc., so end up with chopped-off heads and feet and little else. You must have the ability to see all of the nuances that escape my best attempts.

I'm envious.

I'm so happy for you and for your beautiful daughter, Bob. Life has certainly blossomed over the past few months, hasn't it? It must have your head spinning in wonder ...!

Blessed be families, and all our extended circumstances ( families)
Bob came into the Pratt family in Canyon in the 70's, playing and singing the most heartfelt songs and playng the coolest old Martin D-28s. He invited us to Santa Cruz mountains, and wove into his life ( via Monterey folk fest ) I love the man.
I have a 6 yr. old, Benjamin Dennis, a gift from God. Having an Angel in 1986
and her mother and Angel too, Cherie and Zayla live forever. We lost her in 1991.
Ben was born in Nevada City in 2001, 3 lbs, 14 oz. He sings, dances and plays
drums, flute and maracas. What are you doing New Years? Love Greg/Ben/LaWanda 510-845-6317

What a wonderful, scary, delicious adventure awaits you all. I have and will continue to hold you all up in my prayers and meditations. Bob, you have an amazing gift to share with this family. Rosie...I hope that someday our paths cross. If not, know that I am so happy for you and your Dad. I am honored to have shared in just a bit of it.
